Marine Radio Operator Certificates

Operators of VHF and HF radios are required by law to hold a Long Range Operator Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP).

The Long Range Operators Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP) course covers regulations, correct operating procedures, distress, urgency, and safety messages and basic maintenance as well as the use of EPIRBs and SARTs.
